The state of Arizona’s economy, the well-being of children and families, and K-12 and postsecondary education are tightly interconnected when it comes to the success we are able to achieve for our students, communities, business and industry and the state. Hear from experts in these areas on what 2025 has in store for Arizona and how election outcomes may affect key areas of public policy related to them.

Business & Industry
DANNY SEIDEN, president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Danny brings more than 16 years of experience in global public affairs and government relations, as well as handling complex legal matters in private practice and public sector service. Prior to joining the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Danny was general counsel to the Valor Global leadership team, worked at Intel, was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig where he chaired the Phoenix office government law and policy practice, and served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Arizona Governor Doug Ducey from 2014to 2018 where he assisted in the passage of landmark legislation including the Arizona Opioid Epidemic Act and K–12 education funding ballot referral.
Economy
JIM ROUNDS, economist and president of Rounds Consulting Group, which provides expert advising and analysis to businesses, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other entities on various economic development topics to help navigate complex issues and drive economic growth. Jim has provided economic guidance to policy leaders across Arizona and the country on matters of real estate, tourism, economic planning, fiscal planning, criminal justice reform, education policy, and economic impact modeling. He is quoted weekly on television, radio and in printed media.

ANGELA RABAGO, chief external affairs officer for First Things First. As Arizona’s early childhood agency, First Things First is committed to the healthy development and early learning of young children from birth to age 5. Angela leads the government affairs, tribal affairs, and systems change efforts of the organization.
Education & Public Policy
JOHN KELLY, principal, Triadvocates, ranked as the number one lobbying firm by the Phoenix Business Journal for the past seven years. John leads the firm’s government marketing efforts and contributes considerable expertise to state and federal policy and advocacy efforts across a wide range of policy areas, with a particular passion for education and workforce development.
